Coventry University is seeking to appoint a lecturer in Multi-Platform Journalism and New Media to support its growing team of lecturers. The successful candidate will undertake teaching and curriculum development in the field of Multi-platform journalism in practice and within its theoretical context.
This post-holder should preferably have a masters degree in a relevant discipline and be actively engaged in professional practice and/or applied research in one or more areas such as: new forms of the production, distribution and consumption of journalistic content; Journalism delivered across a variety of media platforms; journalism produced in parallel for
text, audio and video forms for traditional media, websites social media and mobile media; the new economies of journalistic practice.
